Simply put, these long, horizontal levers give train crews the leverage needed to open or close a coupler. This style of Cut Lever is common on many EMD & GE diesel locomotives produced during and before the early-mid 1970's. Model Description: Our Early Style Locomotive Cut Levers are machine bent out of .009" wire. Sold as a pair, each package comes with chemically-etched mounting rings and a drill template.
