Description
These FT-44-class 60’ Thrall flat car with ASF Ride Control trucks was designed to haul large vehicles such as farm, military, and construction equipment. With a wood deck and tie-down channels, the cars can be used for a number of other purposes, including hauling structural steel shapes and other bulky industrial loads. These BNSF-owned flat cars were built in 1967 by Thrall for ATSF. Burlington Northern was formed through the mergers of Great Northern and Northern Pacific in 1970, and then merged with ATSF in 1995 to form BNSF. BNSF is one of the largest freight railroads in the country with over 32,000 miles of rail.

Micro-Trains 60' wood deck Flatcar
Bought two of these flatcars to expand my Boeing train in place of some Atlas flatcars that were last produced in 2007. They're a pretty good match.
