Description
The U.S. Bureau of Mines was created in 1910 by Congress to reduce the number of deaths from mining accidents. From the 1910s until the early 1930s, several cars were employed as rolling safety training classrooms, often seen in the West Virginia region. These government Bureau of Mines cars were visible indicators of Progressive Era humanitarian and national reform programs.

These are an excellent runner pack of classic heavyweight pullmans, decorated for PRR in correct colors and names for the cars. Very glad I decided to buy them. Would recommend to any PRR modeler.
