Description

Pre-Order Due Date:  March 12, 2025

Most manufacturers give a Pre Order ETA which can be seen near the 'add to cart' button. They also give a due date which is indicative of when the product is expected to go into production.

There is a 5% NON-refundable deposit for preorders, this amount will be deducted from the price of the product when it arrives.  You will see how much downpayment is required after adding the item to your cart.

For any pre-order submitted after the due date, we will try our best to fulfill your order, but are at the mercy of the manufacturer and if they produce more than were preordered by their dealers.

Pre-Orders will show a 0 shipping cost now, and shipping will be included on your invoice at time of product arrival.

When the product(s) are available to ship, you will receive an invoice via email and text through Intuit QuickBooks for the remaining 95%. Message and data rates may apply.

Please note that Estimated Arrival Dates can change at any point. Midwest Model Railroad is not responsible for manufacturers delaying production.

_______________

The EMD F7 is a 1,500 horsepower diesel locomotive built by General Motors' Electro-Motive Division between 1949 and 1953. The F7 was EMD's fourth model in the line of F-unit locomotives, and was by far the best-selling cab unit of all time. The F7 primarily differed from the F3 in internal equipment, but there were some noticeable external changes such as the grills and the dynamic brake hatches. F7's operated in both passenger and freight service, and many of them remained in service for decades.

In this production, we are offering newly tooled A and B units to represent the Norfolk Southern executive F units as they ran before being sold to RBMN and the ACWR. In addition to the NS executive locomotives, we are also offering the RBMN and ACWR schemes. Other road names included in this run are the CDOT New Haven McGinnis scheme, Chicago and North Western Executive F7's, Amtrak.

Our Stealth Series offerings will consist of No-Sound / DCC-Ready A/B Sets, single A-units and single B-units. All of our models have road-specific details.
