Intermountain Bi-Level Southern Pacific Speed Lettered Autorack
Intermountain continues the Red Caboose legacy in presenting their bi- level autorack line. The see through photo-etched car sides are the great feature that puts these racks in a category above other manufacturers. The second coolest feature are the finely presented removable brass end doors with "windows" and applied metal grab irons. Remove the doors, roll up to ten autos into the rack, replace the doors and roll with a loaded rack! The cars are finely painted with accurate road colors, and very fine printing. The speed-lettered SP herald is sweet to see. The applied wire brake rigging is nice. The top-quality Micro-Trains line wheels, trucks and couplers look and operate great. The car looks great and operates smoothly and easily rates Five-Stars from this modeler.
