The 300-Class passenger F7's were delivered as ABB sets rather than ABBA. The 325 class F7's were comprised of dual-service locomotives. Units numbered 300LAB through 316LAB were renumbered to 325LAB - 335LAB in 1952. In 1953 Santa Fe acquired units 336LAB - 340LAB and 341LA - 344LA. The Bluebonnet was applied to seven 325 class F7A units possibly to signify dual service locomotives.
