Description
These 2-bay covered hoppers with Barber Roller Bearing trucks were built in 1994 for the Chicago & North Western and had a 263,000-pound capacity. Soon they found themselves merged into the Union Pacific fleet of cars. Union Pacific continues to operate today as one of the largest Class 1 railroads in North America with over 32,000 miles of track.

Micro-Trains Line 09200602 - 3-Bay Covered Hopper Chicago & Northwestern (CNW) 437206 - N Scale
This is a really nice looking and great operating car. I'm a fan of the CNW logos, which along with the printed data are very crisply printed. I especially like the finely molded ladders since they're separately applied and not molded with the body, thus offering a more realistic appearance. I would technically rate the car lower, maybe 4.5, due to the fact the roof walks are molded plastic and not photo etched see through metal. That's my only complaint about this specific Micro-Trains car which otherwise would rate a solid Five stars.
