Nicely Rendered Model
Micro Trains doesn’t disappoint, this gondola is an excellent example of the 65 foot mill, drop end version. The metal wheel sets, body mounted couplers, user applied cut levers & air lines are all well executed. The drop ends are well done, even the chain that connects the brake wheel to the rigging is modeled. The included resin cast load is nicely detailed as well. The unloaded car’s weight is well below NMRA recommendations, making it troublesome when backing over multiple turnouts. We added additional weight to the bottom of the load, solving the issue for the loaded car… still working on the car when it’s empty. This maybe our last Micro Trains car before they become ATLAS in 2026. Nicely done and hopefully that will continue under the new ownership…

Micro-Trains Line 65' 70 Ton mill...
Micro Trains does it again. The detail on this mill gondola is exceptional. MMR shipping speed is awesome. I ordered on a Saturday and it shipped the same day, incredible! Items were packed very well. Would definitely recommend purchasing from this Company.
