Description
Set of 8 CT (Current Transformer) coils for BOD-8. These 100:1 toroid coils sense the track current on leads passing through the hole in the middle of the coil. They connect to the BOD-8 with twisted pair cable such as CAT-3 or CAT-5 network cable. (up to 4 coils per cable)

Exactly what I needed.
This is a cost effective method of adding block occupancy detection to your layout. The signal for the occupied state is LOW, which is perfect for attaching it to port expanders and other peripherals. Worked perfectly right out of the box with no fussiness or missed occupancies. I've already bought several more.
