Description
This is a model of a typical coal bin. When coal was used as a source of heat these could be found next to most structures including small ones such as crossing shanties that used a pot belly stove to supply heat. They would be filled from a passing train or truck and buckets of coal would be carried in as needed. Injection molded in gray styrene 3 pcs

Coal Bin Work...
Kinda disappointed in hand-cutting & drilling needed to assemble these bins ! Why were they made that way ?? THEY ARE NOT WOOD CRAFTSMAN KITS ! I'll build & use them, but won't buy Tichy kits again. .Instructions are poor as well !
