Tichy Train Group 8223 - Visible Gas Pump Unpainted pkg(2) - HO Scale

This is a model of the visible gas pump. It was used from the 1900's to the 1940's. It worked by pumping the gas into the glass cylinder on top and then allowing it to flow into the car. The kit builds 2 complete pumps. It includes the nozzle, hose, pump body, clear tank and milk glass top with seven different logos. All parts are cored so a 1/16" diameter bulb or LED can be inserted into the milk glass and the wires run down through the base. Fiber optic strands can also be used. All injection molded in styrene and acrylic.
