    Walthers Chemical Distribution

Posted by Lawrence Welch on 7th Aug 2025

Not happy. Advertised as being molded in 5 colors. Only 4 colors were presented, 2 of which were different shades of gray which comprised 90% of the contents. Okay, there's the disclaimer that the picture presents a painted model, but why did they not mold a color that's easy to paint like white? I was disappointed enough with the fertilizer distributor when I expected green, but at least the beige was workable. FYI, I despise painting stuff simply because I lack the patience to do it right and a basic approach to the aesthetic is good enough for my engineer-trained noggin. So when I pop nearly $120 for a model, the damn thing really ought to at least present a basic appearance of the subject structure out of the box.
