Woodland Scenics B1394 - Gray Blend Medium Ballast (57.7 cu. in. Shaker)
Great stuff. Only negative is that over time, ballast I put down years ago has changed color. Probably just like real life, old ballast and new ballast likely not the same color.

Perfect Ballast for Track...
This was the second time I purchased the Woodland Scenics Medium Ballast from Midwest Model Railroad. I'm very satisfied with this ballast and found that it's perfect as the ballast as roadbed for all my track. I purchased Woodland Scenics Fine Ballast previously and have used it for gravel roads and parking lots. I have Life-Like Ballast that I purchased in the '80's which is slightly larger than the Medium Ballast and combined it with the fine ballast for other purposes.
