Cobalt Right-Angle Adapters w/Mounting Hardware (3 Pack) The Cobalt right-angle adapter will allow you to install your Cobalt motors horizontally, reducing installation height from 67mm to just under 40mm. With the addition of a small wooden spacer (height will depend on your roadbed thickness), it will also allow easy “above board mounting†of Cobalt motors for areas where space below the track-bed is not available.

Works like a charm!
I have one turnout location that is very limited in space. Up til now I have used a Peco PL10 point motor as it was the only thing I could find at the time that would fit under the turnout in this location. Using a tortoise was out of the question. This lever allowed me to use a DCC Concepts Cobalt IP turned sideways with room to spare! It works just as well as with a Cobalt mounted in the standard (vertical) way. Since the package comes with three I decided to use the other two to run my crossing gates with cobalts instead of tortoise. Again this will use much less space. Great addition to the Cobalt system! Highly recommend.
