The LNWI allows you to connect compatible WiFi devices to LocoNet and run trains using compatible throttle apps. The apps available can be downloaded from this page.

Digitrax...
Have an old tablet or new one laying around. Turn it into a wireless throttle. This is easy to set up and use. It makes trouble shooting my train on the other side of the room to find why it derails at that one certain spot so much easier. Just download an ap and away you go.

Ridiculously easy.
Works with Engine Driver (Android) and WiThrottle (Apple) apps. Hookup time, 30 seconds maybe? That's going with the defaults, but in a private layout, that's fine. I found the response time from the apps to be faster than my throttles. With this and the apps, you can do everything but program on your phone or tablet.
