Description
This easy-to-assemble Accurail HO Scale 36' Double-Sheathed Wood Boxcar kit features a one-piece detailed injection-molded body with a steel roof and end details and a fishbelly underframe. Most details such as grab irons are molded in place for durability during operation. Other features include realistic decoration with end reporting marks (on decorated models), underbody details, trucks with Delrin wheelsets, nonmagnetic axles and AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers. This wood boxcar kit is great for modelers of all skill levels and includes complete instructions.

Accurate 36' boxcar
Nice bright small boxcar to deliver the Ball jars to my maple syrup producer. Easy to build, small size for my older era RR.

This are real good cars.
I enjoy building the kits. Plus I get the parts glued on correctly, unlike the last few ready -to-runs I have picked up. Easy to build, great paint jobs. affordable and made in the USA . I do use Kadee couples and wheels on them. But all my rolling stock gets there couples change out and sometimes wheel sets.
