  I purchased these Athearn wheelsets as replacements for the ones on my older (20 yrs?) Life Like P2K models (FA/FB, BL2) on which the gears split. These Athearn ones are drop in replacements and they are made with better plastic and proper sized holes for the axles. So far they have worked out well.
