  Athearn 85111 - Dual Cube Speaker...

  I am aware of and have used speaker from another manufacturer that fits the same space and is a bit "throatier"...and when I could get...was a couple $ cheaper. However, the Athearn part fills the bill for many of their loco configurations, and achieves a volume level many cube installations do not. I bought one iteration to try it out as that was what was available to me; I bought more to install in new locos as it was a good enough solution despite not being my first choice.(note-my locos work in a large, noisy club environment...so volume capability is an important concern for me)
