Good runners and good pulling power.
These are solid locos when it comes to running performance. They preform all duties as assigned. Pulling power is really pretty good for such a small loco. It can pull 5 50' passenger cars up may 2% grade with ease. I can even pull 5 60' blue box Light weights with light kits up the grade. The one I received had driver off it's axle. (looks like the box may have been dropped.) I did not see any other damage. I push the wheel back on the axle and did an hour break in run. I hope there is not any future issues. Can not wait for the 4-4-0 to come out. And I wish they would release the rest of the MDC loco round up....like the 2-8-0s with vandys and 4-6-0s.
