Description
Pre-Order Due Date: August 7, 2025
Most manufacturers give a Pre Order ETA which can be seen near the 'add to cart' button. They also give a due date which is indicative of when the product is expected to go into production.

Broadway Limited is proud to announce a new addition to our popular Union Pacific Heritage Fleet: UP Business Car #101, Lone Star / Lincoln in HO scale.
Originally built in 1950 by Pullman-Standard as Coach No. 5447, Union Pacific Car #101—known today as Lincoln—has been a familiar sight in UP’s excursion consists. The car was originally named Pocatello, after Shoshone tribal Chief Pocatello, and retained that name until 2001.
That year, it underwent a major interior overhaul, receiving brand-new wood furnishings. Following the refurbishment, it was renamed Lone Star in recognition of Union Pacific’s operations in Texas, the Lone Star State.
In 2020, the car underwent another interior transformation, receiving a refreshed design and a new name—Lincoln—to honor President Abraham Lincoln, who signed the Pacific Railway Act, leading to the creation of Union Pacific.
Today, Lincoln is a signature car in Union Pacific’s excursion fleet, often found at the rear—or sometimes in the middle—of special trains. It has been pulled by both steam and diesel locomotives and most recently carried the Big Boy Tour drumhead during the summer of 2024, when Union Pacific’s Big Boy 4014 toured California and the Midwest.
For our first production run of Car #101, we are offering models of both its Lone Star and present-day Lincoln appearances. Select versions will feature prototypically accurate backlit drumheads, and all cars include individually controllable lighting, allowing you to operate them just like the real thing—all with a simple touch of the roof! Other features include a detailed and decorated interior, accurate underbody components, and precisely replicated roof details.
