Gotham Rail 3057 - 2 Strap Cab Signal Box - Late CR/NS 2x - HO Scale

This is the same box as the common 2 strap, with some differences. Some of the boxes that were retrofitted to equipment or changed around were mounted on a piece of notched out C channel (vs. the angle iron). Some Conrail GE’s utilized the front conduit.  At some point late into Conrail and NS, they began to use the front knockout cover on EMD’s with an additional smaller conduit into the nose. This part has a pilot hole for it and includes a piece of wire. Another addition is a case lock on the left strap, which seems to have been normal in this era as well. Includes styrene to use for the conduit into the nose, as well as a drill jig, which doubles as a spacer to correctly set the proper distance off of the hood.
