Description
Introduced in 1953 as an interim product – the P model of horn quickly caught on in the railroad world for being a very simple, but effective model. This version of the P3 for short, uses the “gull wing” 5 chime manifold with two spots blanked, and bells #1, #2 and #4, with the #2 bell reversed in the center. This was the actual Southern Pacific “spec” reversal. This version of the horn is mounted on the EMD 8″ riser block so the horn could clear air conditioners. 2 Per Package.
