HO scale Nickel Silver Plated Brass Insulated Wheelsets
- These wheels follow NMRA RP-25 standards. One wheel is insulated from the all-metal axle, and the entire wheel is non-magnetic.
- Tread width is .110"
- The axle length is 1.006" (=/- .004").
- Wheel diameter is .378"
- 33" Wheels are used on 50 & 70 ton capacity cars (CAPY approximately 150,000 lbs or less.

limited usefullness !
these axles have the wheel insulated at one end only. They work perfectly with plastic framed trucks but they will lead to shorts on rolling stock with metal frames. I was only able to use a few of them as most of my rolling sock is old with metal trucks. I see that Kadee still sells metal trucks, but they also supply insulated bushings to isolate the trucks from the car frame. The Kadee axles also have all the wheels insulated from the frames.

This is my third order for InterMountain wheels. I am replacing all the wheels on my freight cars with these and my trains run so much better. Go with the 100 pack, Much better pricing.

INTERMOUNTAIN WHEEL...
I've changed all my cars on the layout to these and the trains run much better. No derailments and they add a little more weight to the cars. A great product.
