Jackson Railcar N62036 - Bridge Guard Rail Entry Section (8 pck) - N Scale

On the prototype, bridge guard rails help keep derailed wheels aligned with the track as they cross a bridge, reducing the chance of equipment striking the bridge structure or leaving the bridge entirely. Their distinctive flared ends guide wheelsets smoothly into and out of the protected section. This pack contains four sets (eight total pieces) of entry sections to replicate this on the bridges of your layout. THESE PARTS ARE DELICATE, AND REPRODUCE FINE DETAILS. These models are meant to be bent into shape to fit whatever gauge you are modeling. Lay down inner rails (designed to fit code 80, but other track will also work) and then place down the entry section, pinching or expanding to align ends with the rails. Secure down using glue. If the point of the model breaks while painting or manipulating, reattach both ends with a drop of super glue or model glue. We recommend doing this once it is in it's final location. Models come primed and ready for paint.
