Very tedious, but saves quite a bit of...
I watched a video from Ron’s Trains N Things about how to assemble these couplers. I’m usually pretty good at assembling small parts, and it looked like something I could do. Just understand that there is a learning curve with this. I lost the first coupler when I started due to too much pressure on the throw bar. By the time I finished the remaining 19 couplers I was pretty good at it. You will probably adapt to what works for you, and it helps to know that it can be done. I have converted several cars to body mount successfully. I love the couplers, and they work great.
