Micro-Trains Line 08100070 - Rib Side Mechancial Reefer Pacific Fruit Express (PFE) 456355 - N Scale

Built in 1967, these R-70-18 mechanical reefers were originally painted in the reefer orange scheme, and in the early 1980s, repainted into the all-white scheme with orange “speed lettering” PFE initials. Pacific Fruit Express, a joint venture between Union Pacific and Southern Pacific, was founded in 1906 and continued jointly until 1978 when the assets were divided between the two railroads.
