Built by Fruit Growers Express as a B&O class C-27 in the late 1970s for Chessie System, it was painted in the CSX YN2 yellow, blue, grey scheme in the
early 2000s before being painted in CSX MOW Orange, and eventually in the YN3 blue and gold scheme. CSX was formed through the 1986 mergers of
Chessie System and Seaboard System / Family Lines, and continues to operate today across more than 21,000 miles of track in the Eastern United States.
