N Scale Architect 10503 - Rode-A-Way Transfer Co. - N Scale Kit

The Rode-a-Way Transfer Company is designed with the flexibility to support rail-to-trailer, trailer-to-trailer or rail-to-rail trans-loading operations. The platform located on the four-door side of the Warehouse is one of two included in this kit that can be used for railcar loading. With these platforms, the modeler can choose to have tracks on both sides, one side or no sides (trailer-to-trailer). Without these platforms, the “rubber bumpers” also included in this kit and shown on the five-door side can be used to support trailer loading. The prototype for this model was built in 1950’s and is still in use today by the “Roadway” Trucking Company in New Jersey.

The completed model measures 4 1/2″(w) x 7″(l) x 2½”(h).
