Description
Celebrating American Ford, the 1964 Ford Country Sedan in the Oxford 1:87 series.
This station wagon classification was as a full-size station wagon, initially 2-door or 4-door. It featured plain body sides and could carry up to 9 passengers if so equipped. It outsold its contemporaries due to its more modest standard and optional equipment, without compromising on power or performance. Our Oxford model is based on the fourth generation of the station wagon upgraded in 1960 and in the year 1964, Ford sold 94,239 of the vehicle which featured many of the trim enhancements of Ford’s contemporary counterparts.
The 4-door Ford Country Sedan appears in a bright pale blue on a black chassis and with a mass of external silver trim. The radiator grille which extends across the whole of the front is silver wiped black and features twin headlights embedded into it. The front and back bumpers are also chrome and carry the red and white number plate registered in Indiana 1964 49 J 7745. The interior is moulded in a deeper blue, including the dashboard and steering wheel. A final flourish sees the Country Sedan signature printed in silver on black across the rear bumper.

Hard to do a review if the product is hung up in a USPS holding warehouse. I have been told many products will be delivered after Christmas. Until then I have yet to see what I ordered.

I was quite pleased with the timely delivery. We had a car like this when I was a kid, the accuracy is remarkable considering how small it is.
