Description
The Oldsmobile 88 was marketed by the company from 1949 to 1999 and was one of its best selling brands throughout that period. The company was part of General Motors and the 88 was affectionately known as the Golden Rocket 88 due to its high performance capabilities.
Oxford’s tooling for the 1957 Oldsmobile 88 Convertible includes the option for both an open and closed top. For this release, we have chosen another closed top version which is decorated in a soft grey with white roof and red flash across the body. The interior is moulded in a bright contrasting red. The chrome exterior trim includes the bumpers, wheels and the lettering on the side edges of the bonnet and across the black radiator grille. Our vehicle is registered in Ohio 10280Y in 1957.
