  PIKESTUFF HIGHWAY GUARDRAILS

  I purchased these for a bridge project I'm working on. I'm converting a railroad bridge into a two lane highway bridge. Prototype photos that I found show that there is a gurad rail on both sides attached to the concrete deck. In the model I'm doing there are TWO rows of guard rails, so I needed five kits in addition to the one I had on hand to complete this. Additionally there are 28 support posts on each side holding the guard rails so I made use of all the I-beams in the kits. (6 per sprue). they will be assembled in two sections, painted a nice galvanized steel color and installed before the roadway gets put onto the bridge.

  I've noticed alot of model railroads don't have any guardrails on their hiways, I'm looking forward to installing them on some of my roads, I just have to decide how to paint them appropriately for the late 1940s or early 50s
