Colonial Furniture & Case Goods  is a plastic-injection molded structure kit. It is a background flat structure kit.

Components for this structure kit come into the Rail-Scale-Models product line-up as part of the acquisition of the Railway Design Associates structure kit business. ...but this structure kit is newly designed and newly released.

The Colonial Furniture & Case Goods Co structure depicts a large brick industrial mill building that houses a furniture manufacturing company.  The structure is designed as a background kit that will set nicely against a backdrop of your railroad layout.  Of course, the structure can depict any other manufacturing or warehousing business that suits your needs.  The kit includes walls, roof pieces, windows, roofing material, and structural support components to complete the structure build.  It also includes a set of details such as loading dock, chimneys, roof exhausts, staircases, and boiler assembly.  There is a set of laser-cut details for structure signage, dock roof overhang, and tarpaper roofing strips, as well as newly-designed graphics for building signage.

The background flat structure may be customized in a couple of ways to best fit your layout space.  The main front wall is made up of four (4) sections that can be configured as desired to place docks in different locations.  The end walls may be trimmed down to make depth of the structure fit available space, and the roof may be set flat or at an angle.
