  Nice heavy equipment...

  This trailer project was quite easy. Only two issues. I had to trim a little off the wood inlays so they would fit the cavities in the frame and I had to file the wheels a little thinner so they would fit in the wheel wells. Nothing major. It turned out real nice. I created a hitch on one of my Trainworx dump trucks so it can "pull" the trailer. I've ordered a Bobcat Skid Steer Loader from Shapeways and will soon have a load for the trailer.

  Very nice kit. The metal was rigid enough to make this an easy build. The only issues I had was that some of the wood inlays needed a little trimming to length and the tires needed to be filed a little thinner to fit in the wheel wells. After the trailer was painted, I used some brass wire to make a hitch on the rear of my Trainworx Peterbilt 379 Dump Truck. They look great hooked up and ready to work.
