Showcase Miniatures 70 - Detach Lo-Boy Trailer
I purchased this kit because I was less than satisfied with a similar GHQ Lo-Boy Trailer kit I had purchased earlier. This kit has metal that is harder and more finely detailed than the GHQ kit. The wheels and goose-neck hitch are more easily attached on this kit as well. The wood inlays give this trailer a more realistic look too. I used 5-Minute epoxy to attach the pieces to each other and it worked well. The only thing that was missing was a pair of mud flaps, but a couples of small pieces of thin styrene took care of that issue. I'm very satisfied with the way this project turned out. I'll pair this trailer with an Atlas or Trainworx Semi Tractor and have a great heavy equipment hauler.
