The SoundTraxx CurrentKeeper™ is designed to add additional power capacity to any decoder installation. It can be used to overcome dirty track, limited electrical pickup or dead frogs to ensure reliable operation of any locomotive in your fleet. It measures 40 x 6 x 11mm.

These current keepers are really amazing. Gets locomotives over poor turnout and over dirty parts of track. I will not DCC convert any locomotive without adding a current keeper.
