Good color. Bad coverage. Thin paint.
Vallejo Model Color #35 17ml - 70-911 Light Orange is one of the few disappointing Vallejo Model Colors I have purchased. Paint seems a little watery and is not as highly pigmented as I have come to expect from Vallejo. However, this seems to be the case with all shades of yellows and oranges, it may be a pigmenting problem that just cannot be resolved. I can’t say as I have found any other brands near this shade that cover any better. Color looks better in the pictures than it does in r/l. It's going to take a few coats to get it smooth and consistent. Orc Body is painted with Vallejo Model Color #35 17ml - 70-974 Green Sky I LOVE Vallejo Model color paint! It is almost the only brand I use for painting 28mm fantasy role-playing figures. I start with Vallejo 28010 - AFV Basic White Primer Spray and finish with Vallejo 28531 - Matte Varnish Spray. They are versatile, easy to use, mix beautifully, come in plenty of different hues, and you get a lot of bang for your buck. A 17mL drop dropper bottle goes a long, long way. One drop covers A LOT of surface area. Dropper bottle keeps your paint fresh, and free from contamination and evaporation. Also, if you’re a little bit clumsy like me, you can drop them, knock them over, or bounce them off the floor with very little mess. If you’re interested in seeing more of my work, or purchasing some of it, you can see and buy finished pieces on eBay. Look for seller name Williwowind78. Buy your paint from Midwest Model Railroad! The customer service and the price are worth the shipping.
