WalthersMainline 41' Ballast Hoppers are at home in work train consists from coast to coast. In service since the 1970s, these workhorses are used by railroad Maintenance-of-Way departments across the continent to deliver crushed stone ballast to track-laying job sites. Each model is highly detailed and ready for service on your HO railroad with a die-cast metal underframe, correct 36" RP-25 turned metal wheelsets and Proto MAX(TM) metal knuckle couplers.
