Description

Kit - Pit Diameter: 13-3/16" 33cm; Bridge Holds Loco Up To 12-3/8" 30.9cm

The Walthers Cornerstone HO Scale 90' Turntable is based on those used at small steam engine terminals. A vital part of train operations, this kit has ben carefully designed to fit most layouts and the 90' turntable has a one-piece pit for drop-in mounting. Once assembled, the bridge is manually positionable.

The kit includes the pit, gear drive, realistic decals and complete instructions. Complete hookup instructions cover wiring, adding track and more. The detailed bridge includes the operator's cab, handrails and a traditional arch (used to supply electrical power to the drive motors on the prototypes). This model can be motorized by adding Motorizing Kit 933-1050 (sold separately).

1998 is molded into the pit. Yes, this kit is long overdue for an update. Should be using slip ring connectors not commutator style connections. There are many less than positive reviews of this kit. However,I run steam Locomotives and wanted a method of turning them around. For the money it was best alternative for me.
