    Walther Cornerstone Brick Stacks...

Posted by David Mertz on 28th Dec 2022

I planned on having the Wather’s Brick works on my layout which consists of a number of buildings. I saw that they had brick stacks available so I figured I’d give them a try. The “large” and “small” is a little deceiving. It does NOT reference the size of the stacks which are exactly the same. It references the “size” of the brick scribe lines on the plastic stacks. Each stack consists of three pieces…two “L” shaped pieces that make up the sides and a top that has beveled edges so that it fits tight against the sides. All molded in a brick red color. They were easy to glue together. Each “stack” comes with a separate pallet molded in a color more reminiscent of wood. A nice addition to a scene… a little pricey for what you get. You would probably need four or five of these kits if you truly wanted your brickyard to look like a real brickyard. I’ve been to numerous brick making facilities for my job so I’m very familiar with their layout and operations.
