The prototype on which this kit is based on a Victorian cottage which had been converted for use as a Post Office, many of which still survive. External details included a telephone box, Post Office signs and a wall mounted post box. There is also a conservatory for use at the rear. Area; 106 x 80mm. Craftsman kits differ from scenic series models in that there is more interest to be obtained from the actual construction. They offer great scope for modelers to express their own ideas. In addition to the usual assembly steps, completion of this kit will also require the use of hand tools necessary to cut, drill, and finish plastic sheet materials around 1.5mm thick.
