This HO scale blend combines subtle orange, tan, and rose tones to create the look of sunlit rock and soil found across the Southwest. Each batch is made from real crushed rock, screened for consistency and scaled for accurate texture and appearance on HO layouts.
Application:
Use Desert Sunset Ballast for mainlines, yards, or scenic areas where you want a touch of natural color variation. It looks especially realistic in canyon or plateau regions and pairs well with complementary tones like Cactus Berry and Arizona Dirt. Apply dry, mist lightly with water, and secure using a 50/50 mix of glue and water or scenic cement.
