This was only part of the total order of an EVO Duplex System. I ordered it to replace an existing Digitrax system from the early 2000s. Midwest packaged it and got it to me a day early and in perfect condition.

    UT6D...

Posted by Michael Eiden on 10th Jun 2024

I really like the UT6D throttle. I use it all the time. I hardly ever use the UT4D throttles. I usually keep those for the ones who come over for an operating session. I really like that the UT6D uses AA batteries and not the 9 volt batteries. And much better to aquire and dispatch locomotives. Really great throttle!

    Works well.

Posted by Cliff Jones on 13th Nov 2023

Combined with my DCS52 it works well and is really helpful during ops sessions. Currently using tethered so have not set up the wireless function yet. I removed a star for what I see as an imperfection in the overall design of the readout. The loco address is so big that other details end up being really small especially speed. Also, the screen goes black and has to be woken up after a very short time. Other than that it is enjoyable to use and easy one handed.
