Detailing Set for MDC 50' and Shorty Tank Cars (parts for two cars) These sets each equip two freight cars with see-through roofwalks, properly-scaled stirrup steps, brakewheels, and special parts for certain types such as tank cars, etc. Spare parts are supplied in case of loss or damage. All sets are etched in .010" brass.

Great upgrade for 50’ tank...
Let’s be honest, the 50’ MDC tank cars (now Athearn) are lacking in detail. This kit is the best way to get them up to par with more modern rolling stock. The details are easy to install and make a world of difference!
