 RailNet ELC Breakout Boards — 2-Pack IMPORTANT: These breakout boards are accessories only. They do not operate by themselves. A RailNet Environmental Lighting Controller (ELC) is required. Expand or replace the breakout boards used with your RailNet Environmental Lighting Controller. Each breakout board connects to one lighting bank on the ELC using a standard Cat5e or Cat6 patch cable and provides the connection points for up to six LED outputs. This package includes two breakout boards only. What These Boards Do The breakout boards provide a convenient connection point between the main ELC controller and your LEDs. Each board supports one six-output lighting bank and includes: 1 Cat5e/Cat6-style connection to the ELC 6 LED output connections Support for compatible Jackson Railcar LEDs or your own compatible LEDs Daisy-chain capability where supported by the ELC system IMPORTANT — ELC CONTROLLER REQUIRED These breakout boards contain no standalone lighting control electronics. They cannot: Power LEDs by themselves Create lighting effects by themselves Connect directly to Wi-Fi Operate without the main ELC controller Replace the RailNet Environmental Lighting Controller You must already own a RailNet Environmental Lighting Controller or purchase the complete ELC kit separately. If you do not already have the ELC main controller, do not purchase this item as a standalone lighting controller. The RJ45-style connections are used only for RailNet lighting-bank connections and are not Ethernet network ports.
