Description
The Series 315 is a commuter train developed by JR Central to replace older Series 211 trains, produced before and after the privatization of Japan Railways. It is the first model to adopt JR Central's next-generation brand "N-QUALIS." From March 2022, the 0 Series with an eight-car integrated formation began operations on the Chuo Main Line (between Nagoya and Nakatsugawa). Subsequently, in June 2023, the introduced 3000 Series, a four-car group, began operations on the Kansai Main Line (between Nagoya and Kameyama). Further expansions are planned for the Take-Toyu Line and Tokaido Main Line (between Obu and Ogaki) in March 2024, and the Shizuoka area on the Tokaido Main Line by June 2024.

- Features models of the U2 formation of the Series 315 3000 Series and the K5 formation of the Series 313 300 Series belonging to the Shizuoka Train Depot.
- The Series 313 is recreated without the depot mark.
- The intermediate connecting section of the Series 313 is equipped with a hook-type close-coupling body mount coupler, and the front section uses a hookless close-coupling type coupler (with a two-stage electric connection accessory).
- The Series 315 replicates the door switches next to the passenger doors through printing.
- For the Series 315, hookless close-coupling couplers are employed both in the intermediate and front sections (with a two-stage electric connection accessory included for the front section).
- The front display is pre-printed with "Normal Hamamatsu." Replacement options include "Normal Atami," "Normal Shizuoka," and a blank option.
- Safety confirmation cameras installed on the sides of the train cars are replicated.
- Equipped with a slot-less motor for smooth, quiet running.
- Head/taillights and front destination indicators with a switch for illumination (uses white LED).
