Shady Grove Transfer Station is a hydrocal-molded structure kit.

This structure kit comes into the Rail-Scale-Models product line-up as part of the acquisition of the Railway Design Associates structure kit business.

Shady Grove Transfer Station represents a small lineside or off-line structure that can serve a variety of purposes along your railroad line - a freight transfer station, small industry building, maintenance shop, etc. No doubt it can find a home on your model railroad.

This structure kit includes hyrdrocal-molded components: the four (4) walls, freight dock, and staircases. Windows and doors are laser-cut assemblies. It includes injection-molded roof pieces, and a collection of detail parts such as exterior lamps and stove pipe and a set of metal detail castings to add to the freight dock.

The sample model shown was masterfully built by Dave Zimmerman.
