The natural poles in this kit come pre-painted, depicting weather-stained, pressure treated wood. Other parts are cast in metal "just like the prototype" and ready to be painted. The kit looks good with plenty of detail. I haven’t had a chance to assemble it yet and do the weathering. I’m anxious to get it done.
