Description
Tichy Train Group 7019 - Small Steel Water Tank Kit - HO Scale This is a small steel industrial water tank.  The original was built in 1904 by Chicago Bridge and Iron  for the textile mill at Glencoe Village in North Carolina and is still standing.  As a result we were able to build an exact reproduction right down to the overlapping steel panels on the roof with scale rivet detail and the unique angled ladder.  The base is 2.75" square and the model stands 9" tall.  The kit is injection molded in gray styrene with phosphor bronze wire, turnbuckles are included.  The tank is molded in one piece for ease of assembly. Hard to build but looks good.
This is a very difficult model and very tedious to assemble. Many tiny parts that are hard to keep in place to glue together. The finished product looks good.
