    Athearn Genesis 1567 - UTC 33K LPG Tank Car MBLX 34320 - N Scale

Athearn Genesis N-scale cars are as good as they come. This 33K gallon LPG tank car is testament to that. With the exception, for some modelers, that the double-shelf couplers aren't Micro-Trains', the car is unbeatable. This tank car is extremely well presented in every way. The factory applied walkways, ladders, piping, painted placards and all are very finely detailed. I'm a fan of the etched metal walkways on this early version 33K gallon LPG tank car. The paint job and all the printing are very nice. The lettering is very sharp and crisp and is readable with magnification. Conspicuity striping indicates this is a modern era tank car. The car is nicely weighted and rolls very smoothly, and the coupling action is good as well. This car easily rates Five-stars!
