Great Budget Sound Decoder
Arrived fast and well packaged. Unfortunately will be a while before it gets installed in a custom one of a kind kitbash locomotive but should do well like other digitrax decoders I’ve used before.

Decoder seems to be pretty good however the capacitor connection is pretty vulnerable to damage. Lead broke off and when I soldered it back on I apparently damaged it. Now nothing works. C'est la vie.

Digitrax...
Steam sounds not that great...Steam whistle weak and anemic...Diesel sounds are better. Diesel low speed not so good in Athearn RS3. Would not buy again.
